How safe is my money in the pre-arrangement contract?
Your paid-in funds are held in a trust account — separate from the company's assets. This means: even in the event of the company's insolvency, your money is protected. The contract can be cancelled at any time, and you receive the paid-in amounts back (less a small administration fee).
Additionally, the money in the pre-arrangement contract is protected against seizure (§ 850b ZPO) and is not counted as assets when calculating social benefits. An important advantage for recipients of citizen's allowance or other social benefits.
